How long does brass jewelry last?

Brass jewelry is made of raw brass – it has not been coated with other metals (e.g., gold or silver) and it is not a coating or plating that can wear off. If you don't have a sensitivity to base metals, brass jewelry is a great option that will last as long as precious metals without breaking the bank.

Generally, moisture and/or oxygen are the causes of metal tarnishing. Therefore, I recommend not storing jewelry in the bathroom and removing it before strenuous athletic activities, showering, applying moisturizer/hairspray, etc.

How do I care for brass jewelry?

Over time, brass develops a typical patina, which is completely normal and can be intensified by contact with perfume, cream, and sweat.

You can always restore the shine to your jewelry. Your piece of jewelry does not have a thin applied gold layer but is made entirely of brass, so you don't have to worry about rubbing anything off.

I like to use a simple metal polish when I want them to shine like new again.

To freshen it up, it's also enough to bathe your piece of jewelry in lemon juice or vinegar for half a minute. Afterward, wash everything thoroughly with clear water and dish soap and dry it thoroughly. This way, you will enjoy your jewelry for a very long time.
I want to give jewelry as a gift, how should I choose?

If you want to give jewelry as a gift, it's not always an easy task. It's best to first ask yourself whether the person you're gifting has a more striking style, or perhaps prefers a more minimalist look, and choose a larger or smaller model accordingly.

Does the person prefer a classic style? Then you'll be on the safe side with my simple brass earrings, freshwater pearl earrings, or simple necklaces with pendants.

Do you associate a certain color with the person? Then take a look at my gemstone earrings or necklaces, or small pearl earrings. Here you'll find models with a wide variety of pearls.

Brass is an alloy of zinc and copper, making it a very well-tolerated jewelry material for most people. Returns due to this issue are very rare.

However, since intolerances can never be completely ruled out, you can easily return your jewelry within 28 days of receiving the goods.
