What is brass and how well tolerated is it as a jewelry material?

Brass is an alloy of zinc and copper, making it a very well-tolerated jewelry material for most people. Returns due to this issue are very rare.

However, since intolerances can never be completely ruled out, you can easily return your jewelry within 28 days of receiving the goods.
How are the necklaces made?

All the necklaces you find in my shop are handmade by me in my studio.

I like to use gemstones, freshwater pearls, glass and brass elements, and I also love to reuse beads from old jewelry that I find at flea markets or second-hand shops.

If the beads are repurposed, you will find a corresponding note in the product details.
I want to give a necklace as a gift - how should I choose?

If you want to give jewelry as a gift, it's not always an easy task. It's best to first ask yourself whether the person receiving the gift prefers a striking style, or perhaps a more minimalist one, and choose a simpler or more eye-catching model accordingly.

Does the person dress colorfully and playfully? Then take a look at my statement necklaces.

Do you associate a certain color with the person? Then check out the gemstone necklaces. Here you'll find models with a variety of beads, perhaps even with the birthstone of the birthday boy or girl.

And if something doesn't quite hit the mark, you can easily exchange your order within 28 days.
Can I get a different length?

How do I care for my necklace?

The great thing about brass is that even if it has tarnished or darkened, its original beautiful shine and color are still there underneath! These can never wear off. It just requires a little extra care. Brass is very easy to clean with a variety of household remedies. For example, I've had good experience with white vinegar and lemon juice.
You can immerse your jewelry directly in it, let it sit for a maximum of one to two minutes, and then rinse it with warm water and regular dish soap. If a little more effort is needed, I recommend carefully using an old toothbrush, a cotton swab, or a dish sponge.

Also, make sure not to bend the chains too much and store them hanging and as untangled as possible, so you can enjoy them for a long time.
