What is brass and how well tolerated is it as a jewelry material?

Brass is an alloy of zinc and copper, making it a very well-tolerated jewelry material for most people. Returns on this issue are very rare.

However, since intolerances can never be ruled out, you can return your jewelry without any problems within 28 days of receiving the goods.

I would also be happy to advise you on alternative ear hooks, such as those made of sterling silver or gold filled. Simply send me a message via the contact form, if the option is not already available in the product.
How are the earrings made?

All the earrings you find in my shop are handmade by me in my studio.

Apart from beads, I create all elements of my earrings from wire and brass sheets. This means I don't use pre-made shapes; instead, I cut, hammer, saw, file, and polish all parts by hand.

This also means that each shape will have slight differences, and each texture will turn out a little differently. You will receive a product that you won't find anywhere else.
I want to give earrings as a gift - how do I choose?

If you want to give jewelry as a gift, it's not always an easy task. It's best to first ask yourself whether the recipient prefers a striking style or perhaps prefers a more minimalist look, and then choose a larger or smaller model accordingly.

Does the person prefer a classic look? Then you can't go wrong with my simple brass earrings or freshwater pearl earrings.

Do you associate a certain color with the person? Then take a look at my gemstone earrings or small pearl earrings. Here you will find models with a wide variety of pearls.

And if something isn't quite right, you can easily exchange your order within 28 days.
How heavy are the earrings?

How long does brass jewelry last?

Brass jewelry is made of raw brass – it has not been plated with other metals (e.g., gold or silver) and it is not a coating or plating that can wear off. If you don't have a sensitivity to base metals, brass jewelry is a great option that will last as long as precious metals without breaking the bank.

Generally, moisture and/or oxygen cause metal to tarnish. I therefore recommend not storing jewelry in the bathroom and removing it before strenuous sports activities, showering, applying moisturizer/hairspray, etc.
